Our client is an investment management platform looking for a Chief Operating Officer to join their team in Bahrain. What the job involves

• Relationship Management: communicating with investors, contributing to RFPs and DDQs, maintaining a central database of IR information, and supporting investment teams in fundraising for new and existing vehicles.

• Fund operations

• External Finance Function Oversight: oversee all aspects of the third-party finance function including fund administration, budgets, end-of-year audit, and performance monitoring of the portfolio companies.

Who we are looking for

• Experience of being in a COO or equivalent role in an investment/asset management or financial services business.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Degree educated.
• Driven to add value to all aspects of the role.
• The ability to leverage AI and data analytics to enhance client experience.
• Very high level of attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to both work effectively within a senior team and to multi-task and determine priorities.
• Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues.
• A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
• Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues.
• A track record of creating operational excellence within the context of a COO role.
