QC Engineer - Electrical (Industrial Automation Projects)

Introduction to the basic competencies needed to manage a professional career in theatre. Develop a career plan, manage legal and financial affairs (budgets, taxes, contracts, collective agreements), and write a successful application for arts funding.

A meeting with Union des Artistes must be planned during the semester - might be joined with THE4510.

Requirements:

1. Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Theatre studies or Professional Theatre School diploma.
2. Five years of professional experience as the artistic or administrative director of a theatre company, festival, or educational organization.
3. Teaching experience at the university or conservatory level.
4. Thorough knowledge of career management (budget creation, collective agreement negotiation, performer contracts, tax rules for self-employed artists, grant writing, self-production, and current knowledge of Canadian theatre companies, associations, and artists).

An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational requirement and/or demonstrated experience.
