Job Title: IT Infrastructure Manager

Required Skillset

Mandatory Skills: VMWare 8, Windows Server Management, Basics of Linux, Fortinet Firewall administration, Veeam Backup, HPE storage management, HPE Server and NAS hardware maintenance and management, Windows AD, DNS, DHCP, Windows RDP host and licensing server management, Azure cloud infrastructure setup and management

• IT Infrastructure Management: Proficient in maintaining and managing VMware virtualized environments, clustering, and SAN storage configurations.
• Backup and Recovery: Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup or similar backup solutions, including configuration, monitoring, and verification of backups.
• Network Administration: Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, VLAN, and Fortinet firewall configurations, with experience in network troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Server Administration: Experience in patch management, server updates, security configuration, and RDP-based thin client environments.
• Security: Knowledge of firewall management, endpoint security tools, and data protection best practices.
• User and Device Management: Familiarity with user account provisioning, hardware setup, device troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Cloud and Microsoft 365 Management: Experience in Microsoft 365 administration, mailbox backups, and cloud productivity tools.
• Procurement and Vendor Coordination: Experience in purchasing, vendor negotiations, AMC tracking, and managing service agreements.
• Documentation: Ability to create and maintain SOPs, network diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Communication and Problem-Solving: Strong interpersonal skills to support users and manage technical escalations efficiently.
• Compliance and Data Protection: Understanding of hardware disposal regulations, data wiping, and audit requirements.
• Certifications (Preferred): VMware, Microsoft, Aruba, Cisco (CCNA), or other relevant IT infrastructure certifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Infrastructure Management: Monitor, maintain, and optimize virtualized environments and SAN storage to ensure high availability and performance.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery: Set up, monitor, and verify data backups using Veeam Backup and ensure timely recovery testing.
• Network and Firewall Maintenance: Maintain core and access switches, monitor network performance, and manage firewall configurations for security and efficiency.
• Server Administration: Perform server patching, security updates, and troubleshoot system performance issues.
• User Support and Troubleshooting: Handle user requests, account setups, hardware and software troubleshooting, and device maintenance.
• Device Maintenance: Perform proactive hardware checks, device cleanup, and regular maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Purchasing and Asset Management: Manage IT hardware/software procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships, ensuring timely renewals of AMCs and licenses.
• Documentation and SOPs: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and procedure manuals.
• Data Security and Compliance: Oversee secure data storage and disposal processes, including compliance with regulations for data protection and e-waste.
• Microsoft 365 and Cloud Management: Administer Microsoft 365 accounts, manage mailbox backups, and support office productivity tools.
• Training and Awareness: Conduct user training sessions on IT best practices and system usage.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Provide regular performance reports on server, storage, and network health to IT management.
