HEAD CHEF - EUROPEAN CUISINE
Job description
Our client is looking for an experienced Head Chef European Cuisine for a nightlife venue in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Create innovative and seasonal menus inspired by classic European dishes incorporating contemporary culinary trends.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the kitchen team providing training, development, and motivation to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Cost Management: Monitor food costs, optimize inventory, and manage the kitchen budget effectively.
- Health & Safety: Maintain impeccable standards of kitchen cleanliness and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a beach restaurant with a focus on upscale European cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of traditional European cooking techniques and ingredients.
- A creative approach to menu development with an eye for detail.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a high-volume kitchen.
- Culinary certification or relevant qualifications are a plus.
