Junior Estimator (Mechanical)

Job Purpose:

To provide all the necessary support to the estimation department in preparing the estimates for the submission of tender.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Examine tender drawings thoroughly to determine the quantity of materials required to prepare bill of quantities, where BOQ is not provided by the client and submit for approval.
2. Verify BOQ and ensure that all items are measured and captured in the bill, where BOQ is provided by the client.
3. Identify subcontract elements in the tender and float enquiries for obtaining quotations.
4. Assist in preparation of tender documents and prepare bills as per CCS format.
5. Assist in compiling necessary tender documents like drawings, BOQs and arrange tender submission on time.
6. Provide all necessary support to the estimating department to facilitate smooth and timely processing of tender.

Skills and Experience:

1. Around 1-3 years of experience in the MEP field in both construction and fit-out industry.
2. Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering discipline.
