Job Brief

As a Cashier/Service Crew Member, you will prepare and serve food, process customer payments, and provide customer service. Work during all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Service crew members work in a team-oriented environment with other service crew staff members and typically report to the shift manager, assistant manager, and manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers and answer phone calls.
2. Interact with customers and respond to their complaints & questions, resolving issues where possible and referring customers to managers as needed.
3. Achieve sales efficiently using various selling techniques to suggest additional purchases and upsell to customers.
4. Serve food items to customers.
5. Process payments and cashiering duties on POS including cash, check, credit cards & digital systems.
6. Have a basic understanding of delivery aggregators.
7. Clean work areas with other team members and keep the work area organized.
8. Maintain stock in work & customer areas with needed supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and cleaning supplies, and notify management about inventory levels.

Requirements:

1. Strong customer service skills.
2. Proven experience in sales skills.
3. Basic math skills.
4. Familiarity with store management platform and POS operations.
5. Computer skills.
6. Ability to spend hours walking and standing, and lift heavy stock items, which requires physical ability.
7. High school diploma or equivalent is desirable; training from a culinary school will be an asset.
