HSE Engineer

Job Title: HSE Engineer

We are currently looking for a HSE Engineer for our client to work on a renewable energy project in Saudi Arabia.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Patrolling on site with the focus on the examination of safe work.
2. Follow up corrective actions defined during the inspection.
3. Be pro-active to propose safety issues to improve our level and the attitude on site.
4. Anticipate difficulties and propose alternative ways to work.
5. Check the implementation on site of safety rules and mitigation measures defined in the risk assessment.
6. Provide health and safety training support to field and corporate personnel to maintain industry standards.
7. Maintain and update corporate quality, safety, training and health programs, establishing objectives and training.
8. Monitor safety, training and health regulations and provide technical support to field and corporate personnel to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
9. Organize and provide scheduled training for employees to meet industry standards, customer-required licenses, permits, and certifications.
10. Ensure that the work is carried out safely.

Requirements:

1. HSE background
2. Good knowledge of local Occupational Health and Safety Regulation
3. Experienced with construction sites and project work
4. Skilled in writing procedures and instructions
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
