SALES AREA MANAGER - Korea Japan China

Job Overview:

We are seeking a "Sales Area Manager" for a very important and prestigious Client based in UAE with twenty years of experience in the Gulf Countries with HQ in Italy.

The services offered by the Company include in-house solutions, engineering design, assembly of junction boxes, power and control panels meeting IECEx, ATEX, ECAS-Ex and ISO standards, after-sales support, local stock & spare part depot, and a regional training center for company products.

The sectors in which the company operates are Oil & Gas, Mining, Chemical-pharmaceutical, Food, Traditional Energy, Green Energy, and Shipbuilding, guaranteeing the quality, safety, and reliability of its products and services.

The Sales Area Manager based in their Factory in Dubai - UAE is a skilled profile with experience with Korea, Japan, China (but not only) EPC Contractors and big OEMs involved in Oil & Gas and power projects; the candidate will be available to travel 60% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for delivering agreed sales targets in line with sales/business plans.
  2. Identify development potential in accounts by studying current and previous business.
  3. Meet with key customer personnel; identify and evaluate additional needs; analyze opportunities.
  4. Involve in overall sales revenue, business development, distribution strategy, and product coverage & penetration in assigned countries.
  5. Develop and implement a growth strategy focused on both company new products/solutions and new market segments.
  6. Identify new markets and customer needs.

Qualifications:

  1. The candidate should have an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or a related field; background and previous experience will be much appreciated.
  2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior sales manager role, with a background in EPC Contractors and big OEMs involved in Oil & Gas and power projects.
  3. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics in Korea, Japan, China, etc.
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Flexibility to travel 60% of the time.
  6. Ability to build strategic relationships and influence key stakeholders and clients.
