Job description
This new role will be working within the established Sales Excellence Department, reporting to Sales Excellence Training Manager.

The International Training Manager is responsible for developing comprehensive training programs tailored for the International Region sales team and distributors. This includes designing and implementing roadmaps for onboarding, competency enhancement, and certification.

Within the Sales Excellence department, the International Training Manager will contribute to the development of Rayner's proprietary commercial model, known as the Rayner Way. The focus is on achieving the highest level of commercial excellence in both clinical and sales aspects across Rayner's International commercial team.

Additionally, the manager will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the Rayner online training program, Focal Point, by managing contributors and stakeholders. Continuous collaboration with international sales team leaders is essential to adapt training content to align with international strategies and industry trends. This role involves significant internal and external communication, requiring interaction with all departments at Rayner's head office in Worthing and other global offices.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Identifying training needs across the markets
  2. Designing and implementing product training programs
  3. eLearning content product focused
  4. eLearning content on other topics
  5. Reviewing and correcting old training when required
  6. Creating selling speeches training content
  7. Performing online training and onboarding process
  8. Online training for new joiners
  9. Conducting webinars and upskilling training for advanced team members
  10. Tracking training and development progress
  11. Focusing on training completion for new joiners
  12. Analyzing international results
  13. Planning learning development with Country Managers
  14. Conducting field coaching visits
  15. Leading competence development
  16. Motivating employees to learn and develop
  17. Cooperating with International country managers to provide necessary resources
  18. Managing dashboard data and analytics
  19. Documenting field coaching
  20. Supporting training materials
  21. Training managers and regional managers
  22. Providing action plans and gap analysis based on sales results
  23. Collaborating with Experienced Application Specialists and International Product Specialists, Marketing Director International
  24. Planning, designing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for the International Sales Teams, covering Rayner's entire product portfolio, including technical specifications, clinical evidence, competitor products, and market activities
  25. Ensuring employees follow Rayner's way of selling and comply with company and legal requirements related to field/OR presence in Pharma and devices
  26. Implementing a package of product and non-product training required for the international sales team in accordance with compliance, including:
  27. Compliance (discounting/sampling/pricing etc.)
  28. Pharma & Med device regulations
  29. Creating a scope for periodic certification of employees and implementation
  30. Annual Training & Compliance sign-off
  31. Managing relationships with stakeholders
  32. Effectively managing cross-departmental interactions
  33. Strategic planning for international competencies approach
  34. Cooperating with HR, Legal, appraisals, and field coaching
  35. Building and maintaining relationships
  36. Working closely with marketing and eye science R&D
  37. Exploring experts' network
  38. Building interactions between experienced sales team members
  39. Organizing learning and development events
  40. Preparing for new product launches
  41. Conducting trade training sessions
  42. Working with Rayner's employees and distributors
  43. Being open to training tailored to the needs of distributors
  44. Engaging in self-development and learning to expand knowledge
  45. Participating in trade events
  46. Conducting field visits.
