Senior HR Officer
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to ensure the best talent for architectural roles.
- Oversee the onboarding process to facilitate smooth integration for new hires, providing them with all necessary resources, orientation, and training.
- Manage day-to-day HR activities such as employee relations, performance management, and policy enforcement.
- Conduct salary benchmarking, offer negotiations, and other compensation tasks in line with market standards.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, driving a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Assist with learning and development plans, organizing training sessions and monitoring progress.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.
- Work with management on workforce planning and forecasting, aligning HR strategies with business goals.
- Coordinate with departments to assess staffing needs and advise on HR best practices in line with industry standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of HR experience in the UAE, ideally within an architecture or design firm.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment practices and experience in onboarding and other core HR functions.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Thorough understanding of UAE labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in handling multiple HR tasks simultaneously.
