Job Description

1. Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope of joinery, wooden and fit-out works.
2. Review project documents, drawings & specifications to provide accurate take-offs and cost analysis.
3. Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to ensure accurate pricing and cost management throughout the project life cycle.
4. Conduct cost breakdowns for various aspects of the project.
5. Decide how the tendering procedure will work, recommend tenders and conduct negotiations.
6. Keep track of the project's costs and budget.
7. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
8. Calculate the cost of materials and labor required to complete the project.
9. Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of the project.
10. Maintain supplier/subcontractor database and consistently seek new companies to pre-qualify for inclusion on the tender list.
11. Experience in Value Engineering to reduce costs.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as an estimator within the UAE Interior Fit Out Industry.
2. Thorough understanding of UAE market rates, materials, and supplier networks.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
4. Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
5. Preference for immediate joiners and willing to relocate to Dubai.
