IT ADMINISTRATOR

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network and Wireless Infrastructure: Responsible for maintaining, supporting, and implementing Company’s Dubai HQ networks. Installing and configuring network hardware and software components including MikroTik routers, Unifi Switches, and Ruckus Wifi Networks. Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues ensuring minimal downtime and high availability. Communicate escalations and outcomes effectively.
2. Unified Communication: Maintain voice communication systems including Cisco CUCM, Voice Gateway, and associated hardware. Responsible for purchasing, installing, and configuring IP phones in Cisco CUCM BE6K M. Escalate remote-side reachability issues to the Operations department.
3. Procurement and Vendor Management: Evaluate and purchase electronics gadgets including Apple products as per management request. Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on their ability to meet the organization's project needs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
4. Security Implementation: Implement and maintain security measures to protect against cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data breaches. Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with security policies.
5. Desktop and User Support: Set up desktops and laptops for employees as per requirements. Purchase and install software licenses needed for employees. Communicate effectively with non-technical users.
6. Service Provider: Work closely with service providers to resolve issues related to voice services and service outages. Coordinate with the Administration department for purchasing new SIM cards for employees.
7. Documentation and Other: Coordinate and arrange meeting rooms prior to organizational meetings. Troubleshoot IPTV network issues efficiently. Responsible for managing smart office setup in the Dubai HQ and Residence.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are often preferred.
• 5-6 years of experience with configuring and implementing a multi-vendor hardware network.
• Experience in procurement of IT and electronic gadgets is preferred.
• Proven experience in network, voice, wireless administration, and troubleshooting.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, routing, and switching.
• Knowledge of IT products, services, and market trends.
• Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
• Willingness to work after regular office hours.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.

Salary: 5,000-7,000
