Charge Nurse

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and oversee patient care delivery within a designated unit or department.
2. Assign and delegate tasks to nursing staff based on patient needs and staff competency.
3. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and protocols.
4. Participate in developing and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers.
5. Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in decision-making and problem-solving.
6. Conduct regular rounds to assess patient status and address any issues or concerns.
7. Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing care provided.
8. Act as a resource for patients, families, and staff regarding medical information and treatment options.
9. Assist in training and mentorship of new nursing staff.
