Account Services Operations plays a fundamental role in ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day account-related transactions. This position is responsible for processing requests with accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to banking policies and regulatory guidelines. The role ensures compliance with internal control measures, minimizes operational risks, and supports the efficient handling of customer transactions to enhance service delivery
Principal Accountabilities:
Process account-related transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring all entries comply with internal procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Review and validate documentation for account openings, amendments, and closures, ensuring completeness and adherence to KYC and AML regulations.
Ensure accurate posting of transactions into the core banking system, verifying details before execution.
Monitor and reconcile account service requests, identifying and correcting discrepancies in a timely manner.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with risk management controls and minimize errors.
Assist in responding to internal and external queries, providing transaction status updates and resolving basic issues efficiently.
Escalate complex cases or discrepancies to the appropriate the line manager or management for further review.
Support the department’s process improvement initiatives, contributing insights on ways to enhance efficiency.
Ensure all tasks are completed within agreed SLAs, avoiding backlogs and maintaining operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Banking Operations, or related fields.
