As an Managing Consultant, Specialized Product Delivery (Digital Technology - Payments Specialist) you will:
Execution and Implementation
Support in delivery of large programs for clients from initiation to benefit realization.
Successful execution of projects across different clients/businesses, identifying and mitigating risks, solving issues, developing plans and ensuring they are implemented in line with agreed timescales, budgets and quality criteria, including examples of re-aligning scope and objectives during a program to ensure maximum value extraction.
Develop strong bonds with clients that endure beyond a particular assignment, serves as a go-to resource for client staff, is sought out for knowledge of industry and firm.
Identify new business opportunities to support clients with Mastercard solutions.
Team Collaboration & Culture
Develop sound business recommendations and deliver effective client presentations.
Plan, organize, and structure own work and that of junior project team members to address client problems.
Lead team and external meetings, and lead or co-lead project management.
Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital and solution development, being a strong brand ambassador for Mastercard and Data & Services.
Grow from coaching to enable ownership of day-to-day project management across client projects, and mentor junior team members.
All About You
• Experience in delivery of large, complex projects/programs of diverse size in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
• Domain knowledge of payments industry and hands on experience of program management, ability to manage multiple stakeholders under deadlines pressure.
• Able to plan and manage a multi-workstream program from inception to delivery providing support, direction and/or technical expertise to the project team across multiple disciplines and geographies.
• Develop strong presence in the client organization extending beyond the immediate boundaries of the program.
• Bring interesting & relevant industry perspectives, insights and ideas to key stakeholders in the client organization.
• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Able to define scope, timelines and budgets in a clear, concise language in writing and verbally. Able to report on issues, risks, progress, timelines etc. accurately and summarize effectively offering analysis, options and credible solutions.
• Able to handle multiple priorities, work independently, think laterally and manage multiple issues under the pressure of conflicting constraints and limited resources. Perform and articulate cost/benefit/risk analysis.
• Able to lead, motivate and develop a team of professionals.
All About Your Education & Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
Fluent local office language and English required, other languages desirable (Arabic).
Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships.
Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required, knowledge of Project Management tools preferred.
10-12-year relevant experience. Market specific/regional experience preferred.
Proven working experience in project management.
Payment system Project management is required.
Strong understanding of Payment Systems architecture (Enterprise).
Project Management Professional (PMP)/PRINCE II certification is a plus.
Knowledge and experience with Mastercard platforms is a plus.
