Head Chef - Japanese Cuisine
Job description
An opportunity for a Head Chef arose with our client in Dubai for an upscale Japanese restaurant.
What will you do
- Assist the Group Executive Head Chef in creating new menu items and new recipes if needed
- Ensure that all the food meets the highest quality standards & is executed on time
- Coordinate with the kitchen team & assisting them as required
- Train the team to prepare & cook the food according to the recipes
- Stocktaking ingredients & equipment & placing orders as needed
- Implement and enforce all the HACCP guidelines
- Coach counsel and discipline staff providing constructive feedback to enhance performance
- Ensure all recipes are maintained and updated and accurate costing of all dishes prepared
- Able to execute recipes given by the Group Executive Chef

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in an upscale Japanese restaurant
