Responsibilities:
- Design, prepare and deliver high quality lessons in the French language to suit the individual needs of all students
- Create a teaching environment that stimulates the learning of French in the classroom
- Attend staff briefing and contribute when needed
- Inspire mixed culture and ability classes, by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide targets so that all learners can see success and improve
- Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas, approaches and professional knowledge
- Communicate accurately and regularly with parents
- Liaise with the Head of Early Years and PYP Coordinator to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum to specified classes, including selecting resources and managing them efficiently in the classroom
- Contribute to the extra-curricular activities programme and participate in school activities such as assemblies, evening events, conferences
- Maintain constant awareness of the needs of any children to whom French is another language
- Help with after school clubs and activities
Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience: 2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Additional:
- Must be a native speaker of French, with excellent command of English
- Having a Master's is beneficial to your application
- Experience of teaching in the Middle East is beneficial to your application
- If you have experience of working in an Islamic environment / students, it is beneficial for you
- Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial
