We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business System Analyst with expertise in the Oracle ERP domain. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring our Oracle ERP systems are optimized to meet the needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to Oracle ERP systems. Conduct detailed analysis to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications. Facilitate requirements workshops, interviews, and discussions with business users. - System Design & Configuration:
Work closely with development and technical teams to design system solutions that meet business requirements. Provide guidance on Oracle ERP best practices and configuration. Ensure system designs are robust, scalable, and align with industry standards. - Project Coordination:
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams. Coordinate project activities, manage timelines, and ensure timely delivery of Oracle ERP solutions. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to all stakeholders. - Implementation & Testing:
Oversee the implementation of Oracle ERP solutions, ensuring they are configured correctly and meet business requirements. Develop and execute test plans to ensure that solutions meet business requirements. Perform system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify, document, and resolve defects and issues. - Documentation & Training:
Create detailed system documentation including functional and technical specifications. Provide training and support to end-users and other team members. Maintain up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle. - Support & Maintenance:
Provide ongoing support for Oracle ERP systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise. Work with IT and business teams to ensure systems are maintained and updated as needed. - Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Oracle ERP. Propose and implement improvements to processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
5 years of experience as a Business/System Analyst specifically with Oracle ERP systems. Proven experience in Oracle ERP modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, Procurement, or HR. - Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Oracle ERP configuration and customization. Experience with SQL and PL/SQL. Familiarity with integration tools and middleware used with Oracle ERP. - Analytical Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. - Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results. - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Certification in Oracle ERP (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with data migration and data integration projects.
