Job description

- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

We are looking for a talented, self-driven and experienced Business Intelligence Engineer. It is a pivotal role that will contribute to the evolution and success of one of the key priorities of the organization by insights mining and data modelling to make high impact decisions. Joining the team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment. The role is highly cross-functional in nature. You will work closely with country leads, category leads, product managers, data engineers, and senior management locally and regionally to define new metrics and project requirements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to touch every aspect of our business, driving data analysis and insights to help develop our selection, pricing, and fulfillment strategies. You should be a self-starter who is proficient in SQL, customer centric, and passionate about strategy and analysis.

The position is based in Dubai.











Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Create, build, and maintain recurring metrics and reports
  2. Define, measure, and track success of feature launches and new initiatives
  3. Effectively translate data into actionable insights and communicate them to key stakeholders and senior leadership
  4. Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale
  5. Identify areas of opportunity for automation
  6. Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions
