Currently, House of Shipping is recruiting for a Reception/ Travel Desk Professional to join the team.
Job Purpose
The Reception / Travel Desk will be a dual position, ensuring efficient front desk handling for a warm welcoming experience and coordinating seamless business travel arrangements (visa, tickets, hotel, etc.) for employees.
Roles and Responsibilities
Reception Desk
- Reception desk and visitor management (organized front desk, entry permit, guest handling, etc.)
- Professional call handling (call screening, promptness, directing enquiry calls, etc.)
- Courier/mail management and admin support like office supplies, telephone, business cards, etc.
- Adhoc HR tasks for support and assistance
- Proactive maintenance of a safe and secure working environment
Travel Desk
- Timely support on employee business travel arrangements - flights, hotels, etc.
- Ensure proper approvals as per company policy are in place before releasing travel documents
- Coordination with travel agents, hotels, etc., for cost-effective travel quotes
- Consolidating regular travel desk reporting for management review
Education/ Experience and Competencies
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with travel desk management
- MS Office proficiency mandatory
- Ability to prioritize and handle time-sensitive duties within deadlines
- Proactive approach to issue handling
- Multitasking, patience, and a pleasant approach to work
