Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records and minimizing wastage.
  2. Analyze and monitor costs related to procurement, production, and operations to ensure profitability.
  3. Prepare detailed cost reports and provide actionable insights for cost optimization.
  4. Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align inventory and cost control strategies.
  5. Implement and maintain cost control procedures specific to the seafood/FMCG industry.
  6. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  7. Track variances between standard and actual costs and recommend corrective measures.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and practices to improve cost efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control and inventory management in the Seafood/FMCG industry.
  2. In-depth knowledge of seafood processing standards and inventory control systems.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and inventory management software.
  5. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 – AED10,000.00 per month
