Job description

Christian Louboutin is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate HR Business Partner to join our team in Dubai. This role will support both our retail locations across the UAE and Qatar and will support our head office teams, providing comprehensive HR support aligned to our business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong generalist background, capable of managing a wide range of HR topics. The role encompasses recruitment, performance management, succession planning, retention, talent development, compensation and rewards, employee relations, and employee engagement.

You will partner the HRD, EMEI to deliver the people approach for the region aligned to the overall EMEI people strategy and company strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

Act as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing HR-related queries and issues.

Manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and partnering with our JV partner as required.

Talent Management:

Support the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing.

Assist in the development and implementation of talent management strategies, including succession planning and career development programs.

Performance Management:

Facilitate the performance review process, providing guidance to managers and employees.

Support the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.

Training and Development:

Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Support the implementation of leadership development initiatives.

Coach and train teams on a variety of topics including the support of sales techniques training.

Compensation and Benefits:

Ownership and accountability of the internal budgeting process.

Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs.

Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation practices.

HR Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.

Champion both Group and brand specific Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, with a key focus on culture change, nationalisation and employee wellbeing.

HR Administration:

Manage HR documentation and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in a retail or luxury brand environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
