Food People has partnered with an ingredients company specializing in the international trade of raw materials and ingredients within the FMCG industry. They are looking for a Business Development Manager with a can-do mentality who wants to actively contribute to the further growth of the company, encouraging their own initiative.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifying opportunities and market development within the EMEA region
Responsible for building relationships and negotiating with customers and suppliers on prices, delivery terms, and contracts
Together with the logistics department, ensure correct handling of all transactions
Expanding the network of customers in the region
Preparing reports and analyses on trading activities
Working closely with the HQ team to ensure smooth operations and top-notch customer service delivery
KEY INGREDIENTS:
Recognize opportunities and turn them into commercial successes with good negotiation skills and creative solutions
At least 5 years of work experience within GCC AND/OR EMEA within B2B business (such as ingredients and raw materials)
Good command of the English language; Arabic is a plus
Strong communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-starter and being able to work independently
Willingness to travel for customer visits, trade shows, and meetings
