Beach Attendant
Job description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to ensure our guests have a safe and enjoyable beach experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Understanding and responding to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Complying with the grooming standards of the company.
- Extending a courteous, friendly, and professional greeting to guests as they arrive and thanking them as they depart.
- Making the seniors aware of all guest comments and complaints.
- Being thoroughly familiar with the service standards and procedures.
- Following specified procedures to properly set up beach beds and cabanas stations.
- Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the beach areas.
- Setting up the beach with sunbeds, umbrellas, and towels, and ensuring that guests are provided with clean towels as needed.
- Folding and packing the umbrellas in the evenings.
- Following all policies and procedures of the hotel.
- Immediately reporting all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
- Maintaining safety of work areas at all times.
- Attending all mandatory meetings as directed.
- Performing other tasks as required/directed.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality.
1-3 years of experience in a 4-5 star hotel.
Must be confident and proficient in speaking English.
