Job Summary:

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end logistics operations for IT hardware distribution. This includes coordinating shipments, optimizing supply chain processes, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers. The role requires strong experience in international and local logistics, vendor management, and compliance with trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Logistics & Supply Chain Management:
2. Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments of IT hardware.
3. Manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and courier services to ensure timely deliveries.
4. Optimize logistics routes and transportation methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
5. Ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance with import/export regulations.
6. Warehouse & Inventory Management:
7. Oversee warehouse operations to ensure proper handling, storage, and distribution of IT products.
8. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and reconciliation.
9. Implement best practices to minimize damages, shrinkage, and stock obsolescence.
10. Vendor & Partner Coordination:
11. Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and IT hardware manufacturers to streamline logistics.
12. Collaborate with sales, procurement, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
13. Ensure third-party logistics providers (3PLs) meet service-level agreements (SLAs).
14. Process Optimization & Compliance:
15. Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
16. Ensure compliance with local and international trade laws, import/export regulations, and incoterms.
17. Maintain all necessary documentation, including shipping records, customs declarations, and compliance reports.
18. Customer Service & Issue Resolution:
19. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of IT hardware to customers and partners.
20. Address logistics-related customer inquiries and resolve shipment delays or discrepancies.
21. Implement corrective actions for recurring logistics issues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of logistics experience, preferably in IT hardware distribution or technology-related supply chains.
3. Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, customs clearance, incoterms, and trade regulations in UAE free zone.
4. Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo) for logistics and inventory management.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
6. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience handling high-value IT hardware shipments.
2. Familiarity with regional and global logistics hubs, free zones, and bonded warehouses.
3. Knowledge of reverse logistics and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processes.
4. Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
