Here are the key responsibilities:-
Create unique, high-quality technical content that includes in-depth technical overviews, high-level and low-level designs, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process flows
Work with a Senior Technical Writer and adapt writing styles to maintain consistency of documents with organization-wide standards
Collaborate with subject matter experts to learn more about specific concepts and gather information independently from the existing knowledgebase/document repositories
Drive the requirements gathering phase of system engineering for the various engineering teams within the SOC.
Research, write, edit, and proofread complex technical data for use in documents or sections of documents to present highly technical information in a less technical way.
Read previous documentation or design notes, and use computer-based training or company technical products to gather complex technical information to use in documentation.
Gather information and create documents in collaboration with relevant Subject Matter Experts, which involves conducting interviews with analysts, engineers, developers, and other technical personnel.
Continuously review and update existing documentation.
Manage the review process for revised and new content, with a team of very engaged and preoccupied Subject Matter Experts.
Develop strict standards for keeping, managing, and making documents available to an organization.
Manage the roadmap for documentation control and management.
