About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Waiter/ess to join our Food and Beverage Team in Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Resort. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Answer inquiries about food and beverage items on the menu.
• Assist guests by explaining menu items, ingredients, and cooking methods.
• Inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
• Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Offer food and wine suggestions and take orders accurately.
• Input orders into the PO System as needed.
• Work with bartenders and kitchen staff to process orders.
• Deliver and serve food at tables using established techniques.
• Maintain the table setting and server stations.
• Prepare tables for meals, including setting up linens, silverware, and glassware.
• Ensure high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Support team goals and maintain positive working relationships.
• Handle guest inquiries and report complaints to management.
• Adhere to departmental policies and health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress in a luxury hotel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity.
• Team player with attention to detail.
