Commercial
Promote the sales of products by spotting and seizing sales opportunities, offering alternative solutions to problems, and suggesting add-on sales to achieve established sales targets.
Suggest means of sale improvement to the supervisor and determine “slow moving” or “non-selling” items to suggest sales actions.
Maintain a full display of products via merchandising methods laid down by the company. Remain aware of developments in the local market by being attentive to information from customers, advertising, promotions, and making scheduled market visits to maintain the company’s competitive advantage.
Keep updated on changes in the company’s product range and inform the Sales Manager of any customer problems/comments or gaps in the product range.
Operations
Conduct a daily detailed inspection of the assigned area to review the availability and positioning of price labels, product information tags, and other communication media.
Review daily stock levels on all products in the assigned area and recommend orders to the Shopkeeper.
Coordinate with the Procurement Executive for information pertaining to stocks in the assigned area.

Cash Handling and Transactions:
Process customer transactions at the register, handling payments through cash, credit cards, or other methods.

Manage cash drawers and maintain accuracy in reporting sales, returns, and exchanges.
Inventory Management:
Assist in stock replenishment and ensuring that shelves are fully stocked with products.

Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management or stock personnel when additional stock is needed.
Store Presentation and Maintenance:
Maintain the store’s visual merchandising, ensuring that products are neatly displayed and organized according to company guidelines.

Assist in the opening and closing of the store, including basic housekeeping duties and ensuring the store is ready for customers.
