Engineer Quality Assurance

To develop, implement, maintain and update company management systems in order to comply with the requirements of international standards and legal requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement plans and programs to achieve QA department objectives.

Quality Standards:

1. Identify applicable quality standards and apply for excellence award.
2. Participate in developing departments quality objectives and KPI’s.
3. Review the verification & validation of product evaluation according to standards requirements.
4. Assist the QA Manager in implementing, maintaining, the Emirates Steel Nuclear Quality System Program to ensure compliance to applicable Standards, ASME Code and Customer requirements.

Quality Testing & Audits:

1. Perform internal audits, process reviews, and site inspections.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

1. Participate in third party audits.

Preventive Quality Measures:

1. Provide quality information and technical support to operation department in order to comply with the management system requirements.
2. Communicate and coordinate the quality issues with process owners and other interested parties.

Report Generation:

1. Assist Quality Manager with monthly reports and data collection activities.
2. Ensure the proper maintenance of document control processes and devices.

NQA Responsibility:

1. The QA Engineer reports to the QA & Environment Manager. The QA Engineer shall assist the QA & Environment Manager in implementing, maintaining, the QS Program to ensure compliance with applicable Standards, ASME Code and Customer requirements.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Self-confident.
3. Cooperative and able to work under pressure.

Preferred Professional Training

Master degree; Lead auditor certificate.

Professional Experience (Must Haves)

5-7 years experience in quality management system.

Previous Experience/Exposure Recommendations

3 years in industrial field.
