Junior Accountant

House of Shipping provides business consultancy and advisory services for Shipping & Logistics companies. House of Shipping's commitment to their customers begins with developing an understanding of their business fundamentals.

Currently, House of Shipping is recruiting for a Junior Accountant on behalf of its client.

Responsibilities:

• A/P: Arrange all the bank & petty cash related payments and all supplier payments.
• Entering Petty Cash & Bank Fund transfers to Tally.
• Monthly Reconciliation - Bank / Petty Cash / All Suppliers.
• VAT: Fill up Quarterly VAT Templates.
• A/R: Preparing sales invoices & sending them to customers & following up on customer collections.
• Updating the daily schedules in Excel files.
• Obtaining credit approvals from suppliers.
• Scanning and coordinating purchases entries & getting the data entry done by India back office.
• Any other ad hoc schedule like inventory/purchase and sales.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of finance experience in a trading organization.
• Knowledge of Tally or finance modules & Excel/Word.
