Marketplace Executive

About the Role:
This is an entry-level sales and inventory management role. The main role of the Executive Food Marketplace Operations is to manage inventory, oversee daily operations, and sales partnerships for Cake and Dark Stores that bring desired results both in terms of growth as well as business performance.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Monitor the sales operations for promoting products and be accountable for achieving business goals.
2. Work closely with different teams (bakery, dark stores, e-commerce partners, accounts) to provide updates on marketplace sales & operations.
3. Manage online merchandise presentation on the website and execute effective positioning of products based on season, sale inventory, newness, and trends.
4. Analyze and report online performance and results related to promotions and campaigns.
5. Keep an eye on fast-moving, slow-moving, and stock movement in the stores and take required actions to increase profitability by avoiding stock-out or excess on-hand stock situations.
6. Track new promotional and advertising campaigns by competitors to gauge demand.
7. Maintain records to provide transparency on all sales and inventory-related activities.
8. Improve customer delivery performance and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
Job Requirements:

1. Education level: minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and similar software tools.
3. Hands-on experience (Min. 1 year) in managing and maintaining food/gifting e-commerce websites/portals.
4. Sound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in e-commerce sales and operations.
5. Knowledge of various platforms and online sales strategies.
6. Excellent communication (English) and collaboration skills.
7. Analytical and multitasking skills.
