Roles and Responsibilities

1. Customer Service Skills

  1. Communication: The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  2. Active Listening: Paying attention to customers’ needs, preferences, and feedback to provide exceptional service.
  3. Problem-Solving: Addressing customer complaints or issues quickly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.

2. Knowledge of Food and Beverages

  1. Menu Knowledge: Understanding the menu thoroughly, including ingredients, preparation methods, and the ability to answer questions about food and drinks.
  2. Food Safety and Hygiene: Knowledge of safe food handling, preparation, and storage practices to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.

3. Physical Stamina and Dexterity

  1. Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tables or tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Physical Endurance: F&B attendants are often on their feet for long periods and may need to lift heavy trays or equipment.
  3. Coordination: Carrying multiple plates or drinks and serving them without spillage or error.

4. Attention to Detail

  1. Accuracy: Ensuring orders are taken and served correctly, and customers receive the right items.
  2. Cleanliness: Keeping the dining area neat and clean, including tables, floors, and utensils.

5. Teamwork

  1. Collaboration: Working well with colleagues in the kitchen, bar, and other areas to provide seamless service.
  2. Flexibility: Adapting to different roles and supporting others when needed.

6. Sales Skills

  1. Upselling: Recommending additional items such as desserts, drinks, or specials to increase the check size.
  2. Promoting Specials: Being knowledgeable about the restaurant’s promotions or specials and sharing that information with customers.

7. Time Management

  1. Efficiency: Managing time effectively to ensure all customers are served promptly without compromising quality.
  2. Prioritization: Recognizing which tasks are urgent and which can wait to ensure smooth service.

8. Positive Attitude and Professionalism

  1. Friendly Demeanor: Always maintaining a positive, approachable attitude even in busy or stressful situations.
  2. Professional Appearance: Presenting oneself neatly, following uniform guidelines, and maintaining hygiene standards.

9. Cash Handling and POS System Operation

  1. Cash Management: Handling payments, making change, and processing credit/debit card transactions accurately.
  2. POS Systems: Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems to enter orders and process payments quickly.

Your experience and skills include:

  1. Candidate must have previous F&B Experience
