Job Description

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Tracking Implementation of Group Policies

  • Ensure that all group policies are effectively implemented within the DXB Live division
  • Monitor adherence to these policies and provide regular updates to senior management
  • Conduct training sessions to ensure all employees understand and follow the group policies
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits
  • Prepare necessary documentation and provide support during audit processes
  • Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as required

Monitoring Changes in Regulations

  • Stay updated on changes in local and international financial regulations
  • Assess the impact of regulatory changes on the organization and update policies accordingly
  • Communicate regulatory changes to relevant stakeholders and ensure compliance

Preparing Compliance Reports

  • Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management and regulatory authorities
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of compliance data
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on compliance findings

Coordinating with External/Internal Auditors

  • Act as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors
  • Facilitate communication and information exchange between auditors and the organization
  • Ensure timely resolution of audit queries and issues

Implementing Compliance Programs

  • Develop and implement compliance programs within the DXB Live division
  • Conduct regular assessments to ensure the effectiveness of compliance programs
  • Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related matters
  • Other duties as needed or required and deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
  • Role is based out of DXB Live office
  • Requires occasional travel to international locations for training and development of teams

Formal Education

  • Bachelor's degree in finance / business / commerce
  • Professional qualification in compliance / finance will be an added advantage

Work Experience

5-6 years relevant experience in a reputed organization in UAE/GCC experience preferred

Skills & Knowledge

  • Effective communication/interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, attention to detail, and self-motivation are key skills required for this role
  • Knowledge and ability to research industry / regulatory / compliance information would be an added advantage
  • Training required on company policies and procedures
