What you will need to do:
- Review Material Takeoff List provided by the Designer.
- Coordinate with Procurement Department to identify the Long Lead Items & Short Lead Items.
- Identify the approved vendors list (RVL) issued by the Employer if it exists.
- Review material / purchase requisitions (PR) as per Employer requirements and especially the requested specifications.
- Review purchase orders (PO) and especially the requested specifications.
- Monitor and review the proposed technical documents from Vendor / Manufacturer / Supplier / Stockiest and confirm the proposed documents are as per the applicable Employers Standards and Inspection and Testing requirements.
- Coordinate with involved TPI Agencies, Manufacturers, and Employers Inspection agencies.
- Ensure the receiving of approval by Employer / PMC for TPI Agencies to be involved and follow up the required inspection notifications.
- Allocate Inspection Levels for each material in accordance with Employers Standards and if not existing according to Project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Vendor / Manufacturer to get the Inspection & Test Plan for review and approval prior to the manufacturing / fabrication process.
- Monitor the manufacturing / fabrication progress.
- Prepare Inspection Assignment Package (IAP).
- Issue the Inspection Notification after coordinating with the Manufacturer.
- Review the inspection & test plans (ITPs) provided by the Manufacturers and Vendors.
- Schedule and conduct Pre-Inspection Meeting (PIM) and every inspection activity.
- Review Inspection Reports and related Documents.
- Submit the received inspection reports to Employer / PMC for review or approval.
- Follow up until the Inspection Release, prepare the Final Disposition Report if required, and close the Inspection Lot (IL).
- Prepare Quality procurement weekly/monthly reports.
- Bring matters concerning nonconforming materials and services to the attention of the QC Manager.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
- 10 years of related experience (in O&G projects).
- ISO 9001 Lead auditor certification.
- ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MT, and PT.
- CSWIP 3.2 certification.
- Strong experience in Procurement and source inspection.

- Has good communication skills.
- Is able to work both independently exercising professional judgment and coordination skills.
- Has excellent organizational and reporting skills.
