Mechanical Technologist

Responsibilities

• Instrument Index creation, development and checking
• Knowledge of wiring diagrams and Junction boxes is an asset
• Intools or SPI experience is a must
• Vendor Data reviews experience
• Knowledge of Valves and Valve Types is an asset
• Knowledge of field instruments like Transmitters and Gauges is an asset
• Existing equipment assessments and validations is an asset
• Material Requisitions preparation and checking
• P&IDs checking
• Checking others work and providing feedback
• Attend Site Visits as required and capture observations
• Knowledge of Data sheets and data sheets checking, especially in SPI

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Oil and Gas. (Maximum 7)
• Experience as a project engineer
• Diploma in Technology with two years of minimum schooling as a Technologist or Designer
• Experience in Gas compressor stations
• Instrumentation background is an asset
