We are currently looking to recruit an Operational/Financial Auditor to work from our Dubai based head office.
Reporting to the Operational Audit Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Review of areas to be audited and identification of risks and controls
2. Testing the compliance of existing internal controls
3. Ensuring compliance with the Group's policies and procedures
4. Identifying the potential to improve operational efficiency
5. Applying the risk assessment models
6. Preparation of draft audit reports expressing objective opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of internal control within which audit activities are carried out
7. Providing assistance, during secondment, to external auditors

To be successful in winning this role, you must have the following skills and experience:

1. You should have at least 4 years of PQE Experience
2. You should be a member of a professional body of accountants (e.g. CPA, ACA, CIA or ACMA) or be a partly qualified professional
3. Exceptional ability in oral communication and report writing (good command of written and spoken English is a must).
4. Familiarity with computerised accounting systems (preferably SAP) including PC spreadsheets and database skills is also required.
5. A very high standard of analytical and conceptual skills are essential.
