Job Description

• Supervise day-to-day site operations and ensure adherence to project plans and schedules.
• Monitor the progress of construction and installation activities, addressing any deviations from the plan.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Resolve technical issues on-site and provide guidance to engineers and technicians.
• Ensure all construction and installation work adheres to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Conduct inspections to verify that work complies with design specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and address non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain detailed quality records and reports.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate hazards.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness among on-site personnel.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers to provide updates on progress and challenges.
• Facilitate site visits and inspections with stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee the testing and commissioning of equipment and systems.
• Ensure all as-built drawings, manuals, and documentation are complete for project handover.
• Support post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement.
• Perform any other related tasks required by the direct manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in site engineering, with a focus on power station or energy projects.
• Expertise in power station construction, installation, and commissioning processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
