Senior Process Engineer - Offshore-Abu DhabiUAE

Reporting To: Process Department Manager

Responsibilities:

• Act as Process team lead (Lead Process Engineer) for Feasibility and Concept study / PreFEED / FEED / Detailed Engineering for the assigned projects Onshore/Offshore.
• Lead a team of Process Engineers.
• Ensure all Process engineering deliverables are prepared and issued in adherence with project schedule, tender requirements, fit for purpose, and quality, completing the project within the budgeted hours.
• Prepare/Review process simulations.
• Actively participate in workshops such as Design Review, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, PHA, and Constructability Reviews; provide close out to process-related actions.
• Ensure the Designers are familiarized with the scope of the project to prepare all drawings and details in full compliance with the project requirements.
• Manage internal interfaces with Project Managers and Project Engineering Managers for the assigned projects.
• Provide technical guidance and job training to discipline engineers/junior engineers to ensure schedule adherence and quality of engineering documents.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical knowledge in Process Engineering relevant to Offshore Oil & Gas facilities.
• Strong design and analytical skills with problem-solving ability.
• Good verbal and written communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
• Hands-on experience in process simulation tools (HYSYS, UNISIM, PROMAX), Hydraulic Simulations (Pipenet, Korf, OLGA); familiar with Aveva IED Tools, Smart Plant (PID).
• Familiar with International codes and standards, and company standards.
• Minimum of 15-18 years of professional experience in Process Engineering and Design of Oil & Gas facilities, predominantly in Offshore projects.
• Experience in feasibility studies, conceptual design, PreFEED, FEED, and Detailed Design as a Lead Engineer.
