Full / part time, fully remote within Ras Al Khaimah.

Time Out is looking for a digitally savvy Editor to lead its content across news, listicles and features on soon-to-launch timeoutrasalkhaimah.com and associated social channels. Based in Ras Al Khaimah, the ideal candidate is experienced in all aspects of digital and social media content creation. Applicants should be dialled into the emirates going-out scene, with a strong understanding of the local landscape.

Requirements

1. Responsible for daily content creation and curation across Time Out Ras Al Khaimah digital and social platforms, including listicle and feature formats.
2. Plan, write, edit and publish an agreed daily volume of digital articles to timeoutrasalkhaimah.com using Time Outs CMS.
3. Ensure daily content targets and goals are met by utilising digital analytics and metrics to strengthen our editorial output.
4. Manage and publish to Time Out Ras Al Khaimahs social media channels.
5. Oversee newsletter content curation and dispatch.
6. Regularly check and track evergreen, long-form content. Ensure content is optimised for search and of the highest quality.
7. Produce and present weekly reports to the Head of Content.
8. Work with Time Outs video team to create successful video content relevant to the brands audience.
9. Work with the Head of Content to create and manage a digital editorial calendar. Keep it current, identifying commercial and audience opportunities within it and communicating them to other teams.
10. Work with the Head of Content to ensure ALL content reflects Time Outs overall content / editorial strategy.
11. Ensure Time Outs editorial standards are met, all relevant copyrights have been cleared, content is optimised for SEO and content meets local and legal guidelines.
12. Have your finger on the pulse of the local scene, quickly identifying emerging trends that will make great content.
