Job Summary: The Tailor/Laundry Specialist will be integral in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of textiles and fabrics within our properties. This role combines skills in tailoring with expertise in laundry operations, focusing on the repair, maintenance, and enhancement of linens and upholstery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform repairs and alterations on damaged linens and upholstery, including sewing, patching, and mending fabrics.
2. Handle stain removal and perform spot treatments to maintain textile quality and appearance.
3. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to assess and address fabric maintenance needs.
4. Create and sew new textile items as needed, such as curtains, cushions, and covers to update and refresh property interiors.
5. Manage the inventory of fabrics, sewing supplies, and laundry materials, ensuring availability for all required tasks.
6. Implement cost-saving measures by optimizing fabric use and repurposing materials effectively.
7. Maintain high standards of work to contribute positively to guest experiences and overall satisfaction.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in tailoring and professional laundry operations, with strong sewing and fabric care skills.
2. Familiarity with different types of fabrics and appropriate care techniques.
3. Proficiency in using industrial sewing and laundry equipment.
4. Keen attention to detail with a dedication to quality.
