PURPOSE OF POSITION
To provide prompt and courteous Arabic coffee making and service to the hotel's guests.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Read daily events to acknowledge any VIP arrivals.
Make Arabic coffee according to the proper recipe.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly coffee service area throughout service.
Ensure that the workstation is stocked with an appropriate quantity of coffee powder at all times.
Report any guest comments regarding coffee or food and beverage to the manager.
Conscientiously handle and maintain operating equipment.
Learn and adhere to safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies.
Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departments.
Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B outlets and hotel services/features.
Ensure that all service and storage areas are kept safe and clean.
Help minimize waste, neglect, breakages, and mishandling of supplies and equipment.
Carry out light cleaning and maintenance of the coffee making station and service area.
Adhere to the grooming standards of the hotel.
Adhere to the servicing areas for Arabic coffee in the lobby area.
Assist other outlets in their events when Arabic coffee service is required.
Ascertain guest satisfaction and handle any problems that may arise, informing a manager about the issue and how it was resolved.
Check the daily schedule for any changes and report to duty on time.
Qualifications:
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Native Arabic language proficiency and average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
Must be well presented and professionally groomed at all times.
Good communication and customer contact skills.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
QUALIFICATIONS
Secondary education.
EXPERIENCE
Basic knowledge in Arabic coffee making and servicing.
