Job description

Job Summary:

The HR Executive will be responsible for overseeing key HR functions, including employee relations, payroll management, and supporting day-to-day HR operations. You will serve as the first point of contact for employee queries and ensure a smooth, respectful, and compliant HR environment. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional with strong communication skills and experience in payroll processing and managing employee relations matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related issues.
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and address any workplace concerns or grievances.
  • Promote a positive work culture by fostering open communication and engagement.
  • Assist in the implementation of employee engagement programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies to maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Payroll Management:
  • Administer payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate employee records related to compensation, benefits, and attendance.
  • Work closely with the finance department to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and compensation.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports related to payroll, taxes, and other financial information.
  • General HR Support:
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting new hire orientations.
  • Maintain HR records, including employee files, contracts, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to HR projects as needed, including employee training and development programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an HR Executive or in a similar HR role, with a focus on employee relations and payroll management.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, benefits administration, and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
