Job description
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform comprehensive neurological examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRI scans, CT scans, and EEGs
- Diagnose and treat various neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative diseases
- Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient, including medication management and therapeutic interventions
- Provide ongoing neurological care, monitor patients' progress, and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of neurology through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Neurologist Specialist/Consultant
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various neurological conditions
- Strong knowledge of neurology principles, practices, and treatment options
- Expertise in interpreting diagnostic tests, such as MRI scans and EEGs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address complex neurological issues
