Senior HVAC Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Identifying scope and schedule changes in accordance with Change Control Process.
2. Delivering written work including Equipment Specifications and Design Assessment Reports while maintaining the required technical quality of work.
3. Ensuring that design complies with the relevant procedures and regulations.
4. Reviewing Contract Scope of Work, Design Basis, BEDD, Project Specifications, Equipment & Package Data Sheet, Control Room & other Rooms/Shelters Layout & Architectural Drawings, Duct Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs & D&IDs), Plot plans, GA Drawings, Fire & Gas Detection layouts, Philosophies, HSE requirements, and other relevant documents.
5. Reviewing proposal engineering documents and assisting the Lead Engineer in identifying discrepancies and divergences from the original proposal and raising technical queries to projects/clients.
6. Assisting the Lead Engineer in FEED verification & Design Review activities.
7. Identifying engineering deliverables, scheduling activities, and preparing the Technical Document Register (TDR) for the Project.
8. Preparing HVAC Data Sheets & Schematics including equipment sizing, heat load calculations, ventilation calculations, and pressurization calculations.
9. Preparing technical specifications for equipment & packages including design conditions, utility requirements, metallurgy specifications, environmental regulations, and equipment interfaces with the plant facility.
