BIM Manager Utilities- Rail

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Manager to join the Utilities on a rail project in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for rail infrastructure projects with a focus on utilities integration.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for rail utility projects.
• Oversee the creation and management of 3D models for rail infrastructure and associated utility systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of utilities within rail projects.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of BIM deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BIM team members.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and optimize solutions.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings and generate progress reports.
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices in the rail sector.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in BIM management for rail projects.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of rail infrastructure and utilities systems integration.
• BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk BIM Certification) is preferred.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing BIM standards and workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
• In-depth understanding of rail infrastructure design and construction processes.
• Experience working in the Middle East region is advantageous.
• Willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment and travel as required.
