Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and consolidate short term cash flow forecasts on a bi-weekly basis and summarize in a succinct presentation format.
- Prepare long term business plan forecast and update on regular basis.
- Produce regular treasury management information reporting packs.
- Liaise with banks on daily ad hoc queries (lenders as well as operating account banks).
- Prepare regular information packs for sharing with lenders as required under the facility agreements.
- Transactional support (Payments, Hedging, LC facilities, Fixed Deposits etc).
- Reporting Requirements (Financials, Project cash flow templates, construction updates templates, compliance).
- Flowcharts (account structure, entity structure, ultimate guarantee).
- Preparing and maintaining detailed files and reports for each debt facility to include:
- Key details top sheet /Dashboard
- Project Details (IDC approvals, current status, approved/ revised feasibility)
- Preparing a complete set of facility docs in copy/ archiving
- Listing of all covenants (financial/ non-financial, positive/ negative)
- Listing of all Security details (Mortgage, DSRAs, guarantees, other collaterals)
- Assignments of receivables Listing of all Assignments (Insurance, APG, PBs etc.)
- Listing of other key items (Disposals, Dividends, cross defaults, EODs)
- Unique items (Building up of sinking funds, Cash/ Deposit under lien)
Any administrative or ad hoc duties as may reasonably be requested by management from time to time.
Assist in achievement of the following KPIs:
- 13-week CF is prepared on bi-weekly basis with forecast closing position.
- Business plan is regularly updated with the functionality to incorporate various cash flow scenarios.
- Monthly management pack, Liquidity Memo, Going Concern analysis etc. is presented in a timely manner.
- Lenders and operational bank’s queries are resolved in a timely manner.
- Timely submission of compliance and related information with lenders and security agent.
- Ensuring timely payments of Interest and hedging every quarter. Ensuring LC renewals and negotiating best Fixed Deposit rates with banks.
- Ensuring all Treasury documentation including bank mandates, Debt Covenants, security details, etc. are updated on a regular basis.
- Ensuring all ad hoc reporting requirements are met in a timely manner.
- All debt amendment documents execution version are saved on the shared drive.
- Treasury calendar is updated on a monthly basis and incorporates the debt and hedging payments in the 13-week forecast cashflows.
- Suggesting FD rollover and liquidation strategies to the management based on cashflow positions.
- Quarterly and annual compliance certificate submission to security agent for each facility.
Desired Candidate Profile
The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:
- Finance based bachelor’s degree and/or accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
- 3-4 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
- Proactive and forward thinking – able to challenge and question the status quo.
- Highly professional and excellent communicator at all levels of the organization.
- Understanding of key treasury & finance function deliverables.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and operate in a results-driven environment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with high volumes of data.
- Ability to deliver to deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly proficient with MS Excel.
- Previous exposure to debt financing.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to use Oracle & banking portals.
This is a consultant role (11 months contract).
