Food People have partnered with a leading restaurant operator in their search for a Head of HR to join their team based in Dubai. The role will oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes with a focus on employee engagement. It will report into the owners and will support business needs to ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Promoting an orderly but friendly work environment to increase the productivity of employees.
Developing, scheduling, and conducting technical, management, and interpersonal skills training to improve employee performance.
Creating and maintaining an updated HR manual.
Preparation of the proposed budget for the management of human resources at the beginning of each year.
Creating an effective talent attraction and retention plan.
Development of human resource management plans for employment succession programs.
Building a training and development plan alongside operational training manuals.
Maintaining and constantly updating the HR systems and database.
Overseeing all employee onboarding and recruitment processes.
Keeping up to date with market trends to understand compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.
KEY INGREDIENTS
Minimum of 5 years HR experience within the restaurant industry.
Excellent understanding of HR labor laws and practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
High energy with a passion for building relationships.
Passion for the F&B industry would be an advantage.
Ability to work at a senior level and build HR strategy to support business expansion.
