Role and Responsibility:
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist with a solid foundation in human resources and a good understanding of labor laws. The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of hands-on experience across various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, legal compliance, and general HR administration. Fluency in Arabic (both spoken and written) is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Administration: Oversee the day-to-day HR operations, including employee records, documentation, and HR processes. Ensure all HR practices are consistent and comply with local labor laws.
Legal Compliance & Labor Law: Stay current with local and regional labor laws and regulations. Advise the management team on HR legal issues such as employee contracts, benefits, terminations, and labor disputes. Ensure that the company's HR policies and practices adhere to legal requirements.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from creating job descriptions to sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities. Ensure a smooth integration for new hires.
Employee Relations: Act as the main point of contact for employee concerns and grievances. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, addressing issues proactively and resolving conflicts as they arise.
Compensation & Benefits: Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and other employee incentives. Ensure these programs are competitive and comply with legal requirements.
Employee Engagement & Retention: Implement initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention, including recognition programs, employee surveys, and team-building activities.
HR Reporting & Analytics: Maintain accurate HR records and generate regular reports on employee data, turnover rates, training needs, etc. Assist in HR metrics analysis to support decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align HR practices with organizational goals and ensure a seamless employee experience.
Job Role Requisites:
Experience: Minimum 6-7 years of experience in a generalist HR role, with exposure to multiple HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, legal compliance, performance management, etc.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (such as CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) are a plus.
Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of local labor laws and HR regulations. Ability to interpret and advise on HR policies in accordance with legal requirements.
Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is preferred; Excellent proficiency in English is also necessary for communication with international teams and stakeholders.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive conversations and maintain confidentiality.
Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle complex HR issues and support employee needs effectively.
Technology: Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR management software (HRIS systems).
