BIM Coordinator - Interior Design

Description:

Stantec Dubai is currently seeking a BIM Coordinator-Interior Design to support ongoing projects.

Project Responsibilities include:

1. Assist in setting up, developing and delivering structured BIM models for projects within the discipline.
2. Ensure that all CAD and BIM data comply with the BIM Project Execution Plan.
3. Support generative design with routines automation.
4. Support the setup, development, configuration, and establishment of the Common Data Environment (CDE) for project use.
5. Ensure Project Information Models (PIM’s) are delivered in accordance with the agreed MIDP and CDE protocol.
6. Support, update and maintain QA/QC check templates & QA/QC check tracker.
7. Measure and ensure the highest quality for all BIM package submissions in accordance with project standards and requirements.
8. Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.
9. Review, monitor and report on the development of clash interference and fully coordinated models.
10. Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs respecting clash severity matrix and prioritization.
11. Prepare own discipline model and/or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
12. Review BIM submissions from trade contractors.
13. Monitor and support the data collection process and validate Asset Information Models (AIM’s) and Client Specific requirements.

Internal Responsibilities:

1. Ensure alignment with Stantec BIM strategy and best practices.
2. Development and maintenance of Revit content library for the projects.
3. Provide guidance and assistance with design projects to ensure they are set up and progress optimally, and teams are using modeling platforms appropriately.
4. Add insight and make recommendations to add efficiencies and value to BIM production.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in BIM Coordination and must have UAE experience.
2. Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field.
3. Should be aware of/worked & handled LOD 300 with Revit / Navisworks.
4. Organize meetings to exchange experiences in working with the technology between the members of the project team.
5. Early design review and constructability analysis.
6. Should be aware of and worked on BIM Classification Codes (Ominiclass / Uniclass / NRM).
7. Should be aware of and worked on Dynamo (node based).
