Position Overview:
The Videographer and Video Editor will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, editing, and delivering high-quality video content that aligns with the company’s vision. This onsite role demands expertise in end-to-end video production, content creation for social media and marketing, and meticulous data management. The role also prioritizes filming and quick editing during exhibitions and events, producing technology-related screen content as per client briefs, and supporting the interior design division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Production and Filming:
- Operate professional video equipment to shoot high-quality videos for various purposes, including corporate events, interior design showcases, and exhibition stands.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to plan and execute visually compelling video content.
- Set up and manage all aspects of a shoot, including lighting, sound, and framing, ensuring professional standards are met.
- During exhibitions:
- Prioritize capturing key moments and content based on client briefs and branding requirements.
- Ensure video assets highlight event features, technology integrations, and branding elements specific to each client.
- Provide quick edits for social media posts to maximize engagement during live events.
- Content Creation and Social Media Focus:
- Create engaging short-form content tailored for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Edit video clips into attention-grabbing reels, vlogs, or product showcases optimized for audience retention.
- Stay updated on video content trends to incorporate innovative ideas, keeping the company’s online presence dynamic and fresh.
- Exhibition and Event Content Production:
- Develop technology-related screen content (e.g., interactive videos, promotional material) for exhibitions and events, ensuring alignment with client briefs and branding guidelines.
- Work closely with project managers and follow their brief to produce impactful, customized video assets for interactive displays, screens, or other technological integrations.
- Film all relevant onsite material during exhibitions and deliver polished videos for post-event promotions.
- Interior Design Division Support:
- Film onsite projects for the interior design division, capturing key design elements, transformations, and completed projects.
- Create visually appealing video showcases to promote the company’s luxury interior design expertise to potential clients in the residential and commercial sectors.
- Video Editing and Post-Production:
- Use industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro) for editing raw footage into finalized videos.
- Color-grade footage to enhance visuals and ensure consistent quality across all projects.
- Integrate graphics, animations, and visual effects to elevate production value.
- Sync audio and video seamlessly, ensuring clarity and quality in the final product.
- Data Management and Backup:
- Maintain an organized system for storing and archiving all video footage and project files.
- Regularly back up data to ensure no material is lost or compromised.
- Keep an inventory of all filmed material, making it easily accessible for future edits or reuse.
- Strategic Collaboration:
- Coordinate with event planners, project managers, and marketing teams to ensure alignment between filmed content and the company’s strategic goals.
- Liaise with clients to understand their video content needs and deliver high-quality, tailored solutions.
- Equipment Management:
- Maintain video equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
- Recommend upgrades or new equipment purchases to enhance production quality.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during shoots to minimize disruptions.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Proactively suggest new concepts, storylines, or filming techniques to keep content fresh and impactful.
- Experiment with emerging video tools, software, and techniques to remain at the forefront of the industry.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all video content adheres to company guidelines and industry standards.
- Handle confidential or sensitive footage with professionalism and discretion.
- Uphold copyright and intellectual property compliance in all aspects of video production.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, with a strong portfolio of past work.
- Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in operating cameras, lighting equipment, and audio devices.
- Creative eye for composition, storytelling, and detail.
- Strong organizational skills for data management and video archiving.
- Knowledge of social media trends and platform-specific content requirements.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Onsite availability and flexibility to travel to different shooting locations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of completed video projects meeting quality standards.
- Engagement metrics for video content on social media (views, likes, shares, etc.).
- Timeliness of video production and delivery during exhibitions and events.
- Accuracy in data management and archiving, with no loss of material.
